Community Access is a cross curricular program incorporating outcomes from other Key Learning Areas including PDHPE, English, Maths and HSIE.
Community access is an important part of the life of a person with a disability, as it provides access to recreation tasks, social opportunities and enables students to develop skills and competencies.
Through participation in community access, students show positive improvements in behaviour, increased self-confidence and provides additional opportunities to participate in social interactions.
