Passfield Park School Café Skills program provides opportunities for students to develop a wide range of essential everyday living skills including basic personal hygiene, kitchen hygiene and safety skills, communication, money handling and work readiness skills. Students develop skills though participation in hands-on practical tasks and learn essential work-readiness skills through participation in a mock café each week.
When working in the Breakfast Café, students prepare and cook simple meals and drinks, take orders, serve customers, total the costs of orders, calculate change and hygienically clean workstation areas.
