High Potential and Gifted Education

Passfield Park School staff have embraced HPGE through a shared lens for recognising potential in students with complex needs. At our school, we believe every student has unique strengths and the capacity for growth. We are passionate about helping learners recognise their high potential and supporting them to develop it into real achievement. Our teachers actively seek out and nurture each student’s abilities, encouraging them to reach their personal best.

We focus on developing high potential across four domains: creative, intellectual, physical, and social-emotional. Each day, students are challenged to think deeply, create imaginatively, lead positively, and grow as confident individuals. Our diverse and inclusive school community celebrates every learner’s progress and fosters a sense of belonging.

We are committed to a culture of high expectations and fairness, where every child is given the opportunity to turn potential into talent. By providing meaningful learning experiences and tailored support, we ensure all students have the chance to shine.

At our school, possibility becomes achievement, and every learner has the opportunity to excel.

What is high potential and gifted education?

Educational programs and strategies designed to identify, support, and nurture students who demonstrate high potential or giftedness in various areas such as intellectual, creative, physical, or social-emotional domains. The goal of HPGE is to help these students develop their abilities fully and achieve their best learning outcomes.
