2019 school budget allocations

Like all NSW public schools, this week we will receive a School Budget Allocation Report with our funding for 2019. The report will help us manage our total budget delivered through the Resource Allocation Model (RAM).

The RAM supports schools through needs-based funding to ensure a fair, efficient and transparent allocation of funds. Our school has the flexibility to make local decisions based on the specific needs of our students.

We will use our 2019 funding to support students and improve educational outcomes. The school executive will continue to work with the school community as we implement the school plan using this needs-based funding.

Film By The Sea PPS Movie Project

Recently, Orange and White Classes entered a film for the chance to participate in the annual Film By The Sea Festival.

The Festival is a celebration of student achievement in visual literacy and aims, not only to showcase the talents of our students, but also to raise the profile of public education across the state.

The Festival is renowned for its excellence in both students and teachers. The film By the Sea seeks to be inclusive and recognise the contributions of all participating schools.

Our film ‘Big Rain Coming?' has been selected to be part of this amazing festival. Students will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet at the premier event in October.

iPad donation

We have been lucky enough to receive a donation of iPads from Ride Daze and Hooters Towing to help our students communicate.

The gentlemen who visited were thrilled to see the difference their generosity will make for some of our non verbal students. All our students and staff thank you for your incredible generosity and look forward to more visits from you.
